The first part of the string is the decimal notation for 0xCAFEBABE405, the magic cookie for JavaClass files So that's CAFEBABE + the HTTP 405 Response, which means "Method not available". (http://fredericiana.com/2006/12/08/fun-with-universal-binaries/) . Then post similar instructions on your blog or point people here (http://blogs.sun.com/bblfish/entry/vote_for_java6_on_leopard). Let's see how far this gets us!

We should then be able to use any search engine, Google is a good choice, to search for the string, and hopefully motivate the managers at Apple to invest more time on Java and be more open about their plans with the community.

Your vote may also be an energizer to those groups that are starting to port the OpenJDK to OSX (via the mac java community).

MacBook Pro 10.4.8 slow Wi-Fi connection issue

Well, there I was with an intermittent or dramatically slow conection from a MacBok Pro to my Airport Express, Airport Base or Wi-Fi router. After the 10.4.8 update, the Airport interface was just dedly slow. I tried changing Airport channels, their placements, voodoo, E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G until I read about quitting CoconutWiFi. Darn! That was it! I can't believe it's not butter! I'm happy again and I know alittle more of y super favolous MBP!. Hope it could help somebody else.

Shaping Code After Language

chiaroscuro is a brilliant guy, sometimes he outstands my best guess. Here's an 'old' work I've been using since a while:
Shaping Code After Language, I know it could be useful to few of the fellows out there.

chicken and pigs

A chicken and a pig are together when the chicken says, "Let's start a restaurant!".
The pig thinks it over and says, "What would we call this restaurant?".
The chicken says, "Ham n' Eggs!".
The pig says, "No thanks, I'd be committed, but you'd only be involved!".
